Skip 2 or more meals in a day

I have blogged about Skip-a-meal campaign on Saturday (10.03.2007). Then, Boss Lepton had draw my attention to this most viewed news today.

I was SHOCKed! My brain was blank for a moment when I read this (You don’t believe it, nevermind).

Surviving on RM1 a day
KULAI: With only RM1 to spend on himself daily, 18-year-old Logan is used to going hungry because he can afford only one meal a day.

The teenager has to be extra careful with how he spends the RM30 he borrows monthly from relatives or risk going hungry the rest of the month.

What policy(ies) suppose mean to help for this? What policy? However, in fact?

yeah… quite an incredible story eh? one would wonder how can one survive with RM1 a day in this day and age…. truly remarkable.

I felt sad. Where is the NEP? Where all money go?

Feel the sadness my friend. Even the poorest of people I’ve seen in UK have enough money to buy decent alcohol to drink.

Me too. I really feel sorry to him. I wish I can help however I can’t. When the you-know-what-party-is shouted 30% is not enough last year, I really doubt where the money goes? Does it really arrives to the poor? Read this news, see how cruel is.
