Am my blog will put PM of Malaysia in danger?
Why? Look at the right top corner (it is at the bottom now for this theme) of my blog, do you see the Bloggers United logo (the smallest) there? Yes, that is the reason. According to his theory (umno-reform.com/urnews1/blog_attack_pm.htm), those bloggers have this logo in theirs blog are Anti Pak Lah to be Prime Minister of Malaysia.
I came across to that post at 6:15am today. My blog is labelled as one of the blogs will put Prime Minister in danger. Haiyo, I only have 80 visitors (average) to my blog daily, sometimes less than 20 visitors drop by. Many of them were accidentally “dropped in” to my blog. They left immediately without read a page either.
You also find the posts I have in my blog were base on newspaper(s) back home. Honestly, you would like to say ~ so boring (Never mind, I know it). I write what I have read from the newspaper(s), I write my feeling about it. Can’t I? It just like order the enforcement teams go to Kopi Tiam (economy cafe) ask those uncles and aunties there don’t talk about their feeling. You know what I mean here.
The Bloggers United was born because of NST sued against bloggers of Rocky’s Bru and Screenshots. Other bloggers who don’t write about current issues in their blog also showed support to them. Well, in this case they are Anti Pak Lah to be Prime Minister of Malaysia too?
I’m confused also, since when the case of NST sued against Mr. Ahirudin Attan and Mr. Jeff Ooi is closely related to Pak Lah?
I’m in the country which ranking No.1 in the Transparency International Corruption Perceptions Index for many years (I’m not showing of here, please take note). I do see something different at here. I do wish my nation will becomes better and better. Voice different opinion doesn’t mean hate the nation. It just like parents voice different opinion to their children, do they really hate their children?
I met foreigners here. They have read the news about Malaysia too. Yes, Malaysia became famous with bad news many times. Do you feel ashamed? Yes, I do.
For example, I met Japanese here. He told me he read from newspaper in Japan said that Malaysia is not safe because we have so many snatch thefts. It is not local media’s fault, the tourist speaks for himself/herself when he/she has experienced it. He/she will bring back this bad experience to his/her own nation and tell the others, worst tell the press. How to solve the problem? It is still depend on us, Malaysians.
Don’t think the World doesn’t read several bias remarks recently. It has been reported in famous newspaper on-line like BBC too. Do you feel ashamed on it? Yes, I do. Why? The grass root answer is us; Malaysians voted them in the position. They represent us; represent the nation in front of the World.
To understand more what Bloggers United is, I direct you to this post.
ps: Please forgive me for my poor english.

[...] Well, I’d like to say that not all of us in the BU movement are anti-Pak Lah. Some are anti-Anwar as well. UMNO reform should do some research before it produces a baseless article like this. Please also see 4896. [...]

“I met foreigners here. They have read the news about Malaysia too. Yes, Malaysia became famous with bad news many times. Do you feel ashamed? Yes, I do.”
The sad fact is that the mainstream media only write about bad issues of one country. Bad news sells their papers.
On the bloggers issue, just because of a few “whistle blowers” blogger gets some attention, all other bloggers are being generalize as “whistle blowers or trouble makers”.
On the other hand I wish UMNO and even Pak Lah himself will start blogging. Why not? It will be great for the bloggerosphere (blog community) to have different views.
Hack even the Iran president has a blog. http://www.ahmadinejad.ir/
The news they read are from famous online newspaper abroad like BBC.
You are right. As Susan had mentioned in her recent post, do some homework before comment something. It is not fair simply “label” something on someone.

I just felt sad that there’s people who are willing to victimising others to promote their own agenda, and selling their so called “facts” to people who are easily misdirected, creating unnecessary chaos.
You are so right about it.

Perhaps your initials ‘KJ’ and you writing about FIL is offensive kua…:P
Jeff Ooi should feel insulted-he’s not even listed!
Seriously, this is a no-brainer! How many UMNO members do they have and what is the internet/broadband penetrance in Malaysia? C’mon lar!
Howsy, my name is KJ, given by my grandfather when I was born. How? :) What is FIL?

Greeting from Lim to Lim
I have the logo in my blog , I am not against Pak Lah, just that I’m totally frust! .
There are more than hundred blogs bearing the BU logo, let them label all of us anti AAB, who cares ? Bloggers united, no fear !
Yes Howsy was right, Jeff Ooi should feel insulted-he’s not even listed, where’s the logic ?
Cheer mate !

KJ, FIL = Father-in-law … howsy, right? You will soon need to use this abbr … haha
No worries KJ, you are only quoting from the newspapers. We are free to think and believe however we want as long as we are not quoting on our own. If they have to take legal action, they have to first act on the press because that is the medium for all. Without the press, how do we, the nation, get to know what is going on???
We were not born yesterday … … …
Daphne, thank you for the explaination about FIL.

Dear 4896,
Your points are noted.
Just to share that I join BU because I am against the defamation suit slapped on Rocky and Jeff Ooi.
I am not anti Pak Lah, I am not Pro Mahathir. Heck, I didnt even vote. These people are appalling.
See this is why politics bore the hell out of me. They are just wierd bunch.
Have a good day 4896 and yes I will keep on reading your blog.
Thank you for drop by, Elviza. Well said, you are right about that. They simply labelled someone baseless with their own agendas. Maybe, they thought since we support BU so we can’t sue them for defamation? They really need to do more homework about BU and other matters before they voice. Hmmm……

[...] again, Malaysia became famous for bad news. Do you feel embarrassed? Yes, I do. Why? Read this post. Besides, his colleague should remind him this is a discrimination remark to female! Worst he said [...]

Understand that. understand that. thanks.
